Mr. Yi has been Vice President of CHNR and General Manager of Guizhou Energy Department of CHNR since 2008. He is a CPPCC (Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference) member of standing committee of Jiangxi province in the 10th session; the Deputy-Director of the Committee of Population, Resources and Environment of the CPPCC. Mr. Yi is a Certified International Professional Manager, and senior engineering expert who enjoys a special subsidy provided by the State Council. He was Mine Manager of Yinggangling coal mine; and served as General Director of Coal Mining Industry Department of Jiangxi Province, and the General Manager and Party Secretary of Jiangxi Coal Group. Mr. Yi has devoted his entire career life in the coal industry since 1966 and has accumulated over 40 years of experience. Holder of a Bachelor’s degree from Shandong Mining Industry College, Mr. Yi has won the award of Excellent Entrepreneur of State-owned Enterprises and Excellent Entrepreneur of Jiangxi Province.
